Chile is really better known for its 
underground 
thrash / speed / death 
scene than for 
its heavy metal scene but there are also groups
of that 
style and 
these AXE BATTLER are among the best nowadays. 
They are part of the new wave of 
traditional heavy metal (NWOTHM)
and if you like
STEEL HORSE, STINGER, or MIDNIGHT PRIEST,
you will also like that group because 
they have a very similar sound.
The best song of this first demo 
(and to date the only thing 
they have published) 
is the one that opens the tape, 
KILLERS IN THE NIGHT. A great song. 
The following THE WRATH OF MY STEEL, 
very influenced by the old MAIDEN I also love it.
These two are the best without a doubt.
Besides, there is a version of WITCH CROSS 
(their classic FIGHT THE FIRE) that 
have turned out very well.
