Formation of Amon
In September 1989, after the split from Root, Dr. Fé established Amon as a new entity in the black metal scene. With a lineup featuring Aleš Krejčí on bass, Lada Toman on guitar, and Karel Bosak on drums, Amon quickly began to make waves in the underground music community.
Early Releases
Amon recorded their debut demo, “Realm of Evil,” in May 1990 at Chickenhouse Studio, delivering raw proto black metal that echoed influences from Hellhammer, Celtic Frost, and Venom. Their powerful sound drew attention and set the stage for future projects.
Tribute to a Legend
With the passing of Dr. Fé on April 20, 2023, a significant chapter in Czech black metal history closed. In his memory, Blackseed Productions has committed to releasing Amon’s first two demos on vinyl, preserving the essence of Amon’s legacy for future generations of metal fans.
